Best Cafes in Williamstown
If you’re staying in Williamstown or just here for the day and looking for breakfast and your morning coffee, you’ve come to the right place. Williamstown has a great range of cafes to choose from. Here are a few of our favourites.
Crowded House
This is the Williamstown cafe classic. Here you’ll find all the locals catching up on a Sunday while enjoying good simple brunch food. Head out the back to find a leafy courtyard, perfect for iced coffees in summer.
Try: Eggs Benedict. Can’t go wrong.
Platform 177
This cosy cafe is Greek-run, with an amazing story behind it, of the miraculous reunion of long lost brothers. Servings are generous and flavoursome, and the service is ever-friendly. Based in North Williamstown, this cafe boasts a kids’ corner which makes this a great place for families.
Try: Breakfast Bruschetta
Kiosk d’Asporto
Williamstown’s greatest attraction is the water, so why not enjoy your breakfast on the beach at this outdoor cafe. This seaside kiosk is not your average chips and cornettos. Instead, you’ll find an array of focaccias and salads, and can sit down for eggs or muesli too. Enjoy the crowd of morning walkers, summer swimmers and friendly dogs that you’ll find here, while taking in the view with a good coffee.
Try: The Italian sfogliatella, a light, crispy pastry with delicious creamy filling.
